Questions for the Void
1
Are VEX pieces handmade?
Yes. VEX originals and handmade pieces are created individually in the studio, not mass-produced. Small variations, fingerprints, texture, brushwork, and other tiny irregularities are part of the process and part of what makes each piece its own strange little creature.
2
What does OOAK mean?
OOAK means One of a Kind. When a VEX piece is marked OOAK, that exact piece will not be reproduced. Similar ideas or creatures may crawl out of the studio later, but yours is yours.
3
Do you accept commissions or custom requests?
Sometimes! If you have an idea that feels at home in the VEX universe, use the Contact page and Leave a Transmission. Tell me what you're thinking, and I'll let you know if it's something I can take on. Asking does not obligate either of us to proceed.
4
How quickly will my order ship?
Ready-to-ship handmade/OOAK items generally ship within 3–5 business days.. Because VEX is a one-person art studio rather than a warehouse full of suspiciously efficient goblins, processing times may vary. Tracking information will be provided when available.
5
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Please contact me as soon as possible and include photos of the item and packaging. Handmade art occasionally has a rough journey through the postal wilderness, and I'll work with you to figure out the best solution.
6
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because many VEX pieces are original, handmade, or one of a kind, returns and exchanges are handled according to the shop's current return policy. Contact VEX within 7 days of receiving the order. Once approved, the return must be shipped back within 7 days of approval. Buyer pays return shipping; original and return shipping costs are non-refundable. Damaged/incorrect items are handled separately. If there's a problem with your order, contact me first. I'd much rather hear about an issue than have you quietly glaring at a tiny ceramic crow from across the room.
