Meet Dapper Dead, a tiny top-hatted skull hand-sculpted in the VEX studio. He's small, distinguished, deceased, and frankly a little overdressed. But points for style!
Dapper has been seen around the studio wearing a rather impressive top hat whose provenance has recently been called into question. He maintains that the hat is his. Another skull in the collection has expressed... strong feelings on the matter.
When asked for proof of ownership, Dapper declined to comment.
This handmade ceramic miniature was individually sculpted from earthen clay, kiln-fired, painted by hand, and sealed with varnish. His original firing loop remains intact, allowing him to become a pendant, charm, ornament, strange little talisman, or simply a remarkably well-dressed tiny roommate.
Because each VEX piece is a tiny work of art, small irregularities and variations are part of the sculpture and its character, not manufacturing defects.
The VEX studio would like to make it clear that the investigation into the aforementioned hat is ongoing. 💀🎩
